Four ways to be successful.

Hey hey fam! These past few days have been busy, but one thing that has been on my mind is success. It’s one thing that we all have in our hearts and minds from an early age. I’ve been guilty of measuring my life by success and how I can attain it and keep it. But let’s talk about it.

In Order to be Successful we must do some things.

1. Let go of our past- I’ve mentioned a little of my past, but my past has been good and bad. I’ve been blessed with great parents but for the majority of my life, only one parent stuck around while the other parent ran but we had a better relationship much later. But the past can be a blessing, but it’s a building block. Keep in mind where you come from isn’t where you are going.

2. Stop Negative Self Talk- We have those different words we tell ourselves, and sometimes they hurt us rather than encourage us. Don’t you know you deserve all of the most wonderful things and you deserve happiness. Don’t talk down about yourself. Talk yourself up!

3. Positive affirmations- Do you know “Affirmations do not work if they are merely statements of what you want to be true. Affirmations work only when they are statements of something you already know to be true.”

4. Realize that who starts with you may not end with you- Life is a bus, people get on, people get off but the bus keeps moving. I tell my friends I may not be able to go where they are going, but I want to encourage them to go. Some may try to make you feel guilty but don’t let that stop you.

In life, Success starts with you. If you believe it, it will happen. Make sure that people that say they are for you really are. Some just want to ride your coattails. But know that you can do anything you want and God has people assigned to help you on your journey. Keep moving forward!

  1. Believing you know something is true makes a ton of difference vs just wanting it to be true! Great points!
